We started Toasty because we love being outside. Cold swims at sunrise, windy walks on the beach, rainy sidelines and misty mornings — these are the moments that matter most to us. And if there's one thing spending time in nature teaches you, it's that protecting it isn't optional.

From day one, sustainability wasn't an afterthought for us. It was part of the brief.

What Goes Into a Toasty Jacket

When we spent two years researching and testing fabrics, performance wasn't the only thing we were measuring. We wanted materials we could feel good about — and that meant recycled, wherever possible.

The soft, moisture-wicking fleece lining inside every Toasty jacket is made from 100% recycled polyester (rPET) — essentially, plastic bottles given a new life as the thing keeping you warm after a cold swim. The waterproof and windproof outer shell is made from 100% recycled nylon, also sourced from recycled plastic.

Both fabrics are approved by the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) — an independent certification that verifies the recycled content of our materials and holds our supply chain to strict social, environmental and chemical practices. It's not just our word. It's verified.

Packaging That Doesn't Cost the Earth

We thought hard about what happens once your order leaves us too. Any plastic packaging we use is made from recycled materials, and all our shipping supplies — are made from recycled or biodegradable products when possible. It's a small thing, but we think the small things add up.

Giving Back

We're committed to donating a percentage of our revenue to organisations doing meaningful work for the environment and the communities we're part of. We support a range of local and grassroots organisations — the kinds of community-led initiatives that often fly under the radar but make a real difference on the ground.
